Dean Henderson Was rarely tested to perform before the break before forced to intervene by Arbër Hoxha’s curled attempt. A sliding challenge on an Albanian attacker demonstrated his anticipation. Six out of ten

Jarell Quansah Examined against the opposition's primary attacker through their forward. Started in a central role to begin with later drifted to the flank after Saka entered the fray. 7

The defender Pushed up the pitch when in possession, something he's known for in the past. On occasion lacked urgency when carrying play with the experiment was shelved at half-time. 6/10

Dan Burn A constant threat on corners and free-kicks, typically, but may be an alternative for Stones in defense instead of alongside him. One wayward distribution in the second half almost led to an opener from Albania. Six

Nico O’Reilly Another confident performance by the rising star after his debut against another side. A teammate did not capitalize on the most of an exquisite backheel behind their defense. The left-back spot is his to lose so soon. 7/10

The newcomer His maiden beginning for his country. Somewhat sloppy when playing out but his inswinging set-pieces posed a danger. A handy pace-controller available to the manager to utilize against teams who drop deep. Shown a yellow after a reckless tackle. 6/10

The midfielder Set-pieces from corners and free kicks created chances. Had freedom to drift in left midfield only to be offside upon receiving in shooting positions. Granted a merited rest around the 60-minute point. 6

Jude Bellingham Played in a forward position out wide and also contributed with the hard yards. Showed glimpses of brilliance but mishit an effort wide. Substituted towards the end for Rogers, his competition, after being booked. Seven

Jarrod Bowen Was presented with England’s top opening of the first half, his strike smartly stopped by Thomas Strakosha. With a teammate hanging back, he was forced to offer an outlet on the right but his crosses from the touchline varied in quality. Replaced late in the match. 6

Harry Kane The match-winner scoring two more strikes at international level. His first a typical poacher’s finish and his next an excellent headed goal after peeling away away from the opposition. At 32, he’s only getting better and the side are strong contenders in future competitions with him up top. 8/10

Eberechi Eze Had difficulty to influence play out wide. Had a decent opportunity when set up by Bellingham but Strakosha made the save. Rashford had a greater influence in his place. Five
